A Louisiana Notary’s signature is their seal. If the document is remaining in the state of Louisiana the signature must be accompanied by his/her name and ID number in some fashion (printed or typed is accepted). If the document is leaving the state there must be some type of stamp or “seal” (stamp or crimper/embosser), however, there are no specifications to those requirements of the “seal”.
Call or Text A1 Mobile Notary at 337-540-6521 with questions about your specific situation and we are happy to help.
